Returns & Warranty

At Montipi, my goal is for every purchase to bring you joy and confidence. As a small independent boutique, I've created a returns policy that is clear, fair, and aligned with the quality of the pieces I curate.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee – Italian Leather Bags (Australia & New Zealand Only)

I offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all Italian leather bags for customers in Australia and New Zealand.

If your leather bag isn't the right fit, you may return it within 14 days of delivery for a full refund to your original payment method.

Return conditions:

  • Contact me within 14 days of delivery
  • Returns must be pre-approved before shipping
  • Return postage is at the customer's expense
  • Items must be sent with tracked postage
  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days once received and inspected

Eligibility:

  • Item must be unused, unworn, and in perfect saleable condition
  • All original packaging must be included (box, dust bag, protective wrapping)
  • Items showing signs of wear, marks, scent, or damage cannot be accepted
  • Items marked "Final Sale" are not eligible

International Customers (Outside Australia & New Zealand)

For customers outside Australia and New Zealand, Italian leather bag returns are issued as store credit only at this time.

Clutches – Store Credit Only

Clutches may be returned within 14 days of delivery and are issued as store credit only. Refunds are not available for change of mind.

Return postage is at the customer's expense and must be sent with tracking. Please contact me to arrange approval prior to shipping. The same eligibility criteria apply.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and quality reasons, jewellery, hair accessories, personalised items, and gift wrap cannot be returned or exchanged. Items marked as "Final Sale" are also not eligible for return.

Incorrect Item Received

In the rare event that you receive an incorrect item, please contact me within 7 days of delivery and include your order number and clear photos of the product received. I'll promptly arrange for the correct item to be sent at no additional cost. If the correct item is unavailable, a full refund for the affected product will be issued once the incorrect item is returned in its original condition. Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

Claims made after 7 days of delivery cannot be accepted, as I cannot verify the item's condition after that time.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact me within 7 days of delivery and include:

  • Your order number
  • A short description of the issue
  • Clear photos showing the fault

Once reviewed, I'll arrange a replacement (where available) or a refund if the item is out of stock. Refunds are processed to the original payment method. Claims made after 7 days of delivery cannot be accepted, as I cannot verify the item's condition after that time.

Warranty Coverage

  • Tuscany Leather Bags – Covered by a 24-month manufacturer warranty for defects in materials or workmanship
  • Indonesian Leather Bags – Warranty terms vary by item. Please contact me for details
  • Jewellery, Clutches & Accessories – Covered by a 15-day manufacturer warranty from delivery

Colour and Finish

Please note that colour variations may occur due to lighting, screen settings, and photographic styling. These natural variations are not considered faults.
